The Mobile World Congress (MWC), organized by the GSMA (Global System for Mobile Communications Association) in Barcelona, Spain, one of the world\u2019s leading technology fairs, welcomed visitors.<\/p>\n
At the event, where data security, 5G infrastructure, and sustainable energy solutions were among the main focus areas, ASP\u0130LSAN Enerji was among the companies that drew attention with the critical technologies it has developed.<\/p>\n
ASP\u0130LSAN Enerji, which realized T\u00fcrkiye\u2019s first mass-produced lithium-ion battery cell, showcased its energy storage solutions for the telecommunications sector and projects in which it transferred its experience in mission- and safety-critical systems developed for the defense industry to civil communication infrastructures.<\/p>\n
During the event, the company aimed to increase the export potential of domestic battery technologies by holding strategic meetings with global operators and technology providers.<\/p>\n
The core of this organization is data security and continuity<\/strong><\/p>\n Ahmet Turan \u00d6zdemir, General Manager of ASP\u0130LSAN Enerji, stated that ensuring the security of communication networks requires an end-to-end domestic system consisting of software, hardware, and batteries, saying:\n\n\u201cWe produce systems whose software and hardware belong to us, that serve the Republic of T\u00fcrkiye, and that we can confidently integrate into our network.\u201d<\/p>\n \u00d6zdemir also stated that during MWC they signed an agreement with ULAK Haberle\u015fme for the use of domestic batteries in mobile networks.<\/p>\n Emphasizing the importance of the event, where international communication companies, customers, and suppliers come together, \u00d6zdemir said:\n\n\u201cIt is a major organization. The fundamental framework of this organization is built on data security and continuity. Within this framework, we are at the fairground to evaluate the event and meet with our potential partners.\u201d<\/p>\n \u00d6zdemir explained that ASP\u0130LSAN Enerji is the first company in T\u00fcrkiye to export telecommunications batteries for access networks abroad, adding:\n\n\u201cWe already have exports. Through such events, we aim to develop critical collaborations to expand our exports.\u201d<\/p>\n \u00d6zdemir stated that the company has two types of batteries that form the foundation of communication networks, adding:\n\n\u201cThese are 48-volt lithium batteries with capacities of 100 and 150 ampere-hours. Our first agreement at the fair was with ULAK Haberle\u015fme. Our target markets are Europe, the Middle East, and Africa. We also have different customers in these regions. Together with ULAK Haberle\u015fme, we will continue active work in these markets.\u201d\n\nHe emphasized that communication networks must be supplied with uninterrupted and reliable energy sources to remain secure and operational.\n\n\u201cTogether with ULAK Haberle\u015fme, we are making a great effort to localize communication infrastructure in electronics, software, hardware, and energy storage.\u201d<\/p>\n Today, knowledge is power, data is power<\/strong><\/p>\n \u00d6zdemir stressed that these efforts are not limited to supporting domestic networks with local infrastructure:\n\n\u201cWe see this fair as an important opportunity to reach Europe and other potential customers.\u201d<\/p>\n He also noted that conflicts in the region have shown the necessity for T\u00fcrkiye to develop its own technology:\n\n\u201cToday, wars are carried out not only with bombs and ammunition but also through technological methods such as intelligence operations and infiltration into software and hardware systems. In fact, the largest intelligence network is mobile and internal communication networks.\u201d<\/p>\n Pointing out that securing communication networks requires a fully domestic system including software, hardware, and batteries, \u00d6zdemir concluded:\n\n\u201cTherefore, ASP\u0130LSAN Enerji assumes an important responsibility in establishing energy storage systems used in networks together with national software. Today, knowledge is power; data is power. The information you carry must be built on secure environments and secure devices. To keep networks running exactly when needed, we must act with national solutions.
