ASPİLSAN Enerji General Manager Özdemir stated that they explain the progress of their technologies to young people, students from primary to high school, technology enthusiasts, homemakers, and all citizens so that they can feel proud of what has been achieved.
Highlighting that ASPİLSAN Enerji is not only a commercial enterprise but also actively invests in the development of technology and the growth of the battery ecosystem in Turkey, Özdemir said, “At the core of these efforts lie green transformation, battery technologies, sustainability, and environmental concerns. We organize activities both to promote our company and to raise awareness on these issues across the country.
We carry out educational activities in all areas, starting from primary school programs to recycling awareness, with the goal of fostering public consciousness," said Özdemir. "Our aim is to inform people of all ages about battery and cell technologies.
"We strive to establish a fully integrated battery value chain."
Ahmet Turan Özdemir stated that they have contributed to the development of Turkey's battery ecosystem through significant investments since 1981, saying, "We are present in primary schools, high schools, and universities. Together with public institutions and other companies in our country, we strive to establish a fully integrated battery value chain.
At TEKNOFEST, Özdemir explained how they demonstrated to participants the formation of batteries and their basic components. He said, "Besides this, we are presenting our battery solutions used in the air, on land, at sea, in space, on rail systems, and underwater to industry professionals. In other words, we have a lot to share about batteries, and we are explaining all of that here to those who are curious.
We are raising our R&D and production capabilities to a higher level every day.
ASPİLSAN Energy General Manager Özdemir stated that they produced the battery for Aksungur at 40,000 feet and the lithium-ion battery for KAAN, and continued:
We are making new investments to increase the domestic content rates in these products. We produce major solutions from powder materials to battery systems. We are investing in lithium iron phosphate batteries. At the same time, we are conducting R&D activities related to drone batteries and lithium polymer batteries. These activities started in 2025. We are elevating both the R&D and production capabilities of ASPİLSAN Energy to higher levels every day.
Özdemir stated that they exhibited some examples of these batteries at the fair, and also provided information about the battery technologies of drones used in border surveillance, cargo transportation, forest fire fighting, and many other areas, giving explanations based on the examples.
Ahmet Turan Özdemir also added that they provided participants with information about examples of portable power sources through demonstrations.
