ASPİLSAN Enerji Qualified for Support Under the 2025 Technical Assistance Program of the Central Anatolia Development Agency

ASPİLSAN Enerji, Türkiye’s leading institution in the field of energy storage, has achieved a significant milestone by qualifying for support under the 2025 Technical Assistance Program of the Central Anatolia Development Agency (ORAN). The company earned this support with its project titled "Feasibility Study for Automated Mass Production Infrastructure for Batteries."

With this initiative, ASPİLSAN Enerji aims to plan the transition to automation and mass production in battery manufacturing, and to support an investment and technology roadmap to enhance its production capacity. The project is expected to increase competitiveness in Türkiye’s energy storage sector, improve efficiency in production processes, and contribute to the development of a sustainable manufacturing ecosystem.

ASPİLSAN Enerji General Manager Prof. Ahmet Turan Özdemir stated the following regarding the project: "Energy storage technologies are among the most strategically important areas today. At ASPİLSAN Enerji, our goal is to establish a robust production infrastructure that can meet the needs not only of Türkiye but also of the global market. The support we have received under ORAN’s 2025 Technical Assistance Program will strengthen our automation and mass production capacity in battery manufacturing, thereby making a significant contribution to our country’s energy independence and industrial transformation.

The feasibility study to be carried out will not only help increase our production capacity but also enable the integration of advanced technologies into our production lines. In doing so, we will be able to respond more effectively to the needs of the domestic market and further enhance our competitiveness in international markets.”

Yunus Emre Şeker, Secretary General of the Central Anatolia Development Agency, also made a statement: "Our agency considers supporting innovative and technology-oriented projects that contribute significantly to the Local Development Initiative as one of its primary responsibilities. Within the scope of the 2025 Technical Assistance Program, a feasibility study will be conducted in collaboration with ASPİLSAN Enerji to increase product diversity in relation to the company’s production capacity in battery manufacturing. This study will not only enhance the production of medium-high and high-tech products but also attract significant investment opportunities to our region, accelerate employment and technology-focused developments, and advance the manufacturing industry in Kayseri."

Through this project, ASPİLSAN Enerji aims to strengthen its pioneering role in battery technologies with innovative production models and contribute to Türkiye’s sustainable energy vision.
