Two of Türkiye’s leading technology companies, Netaş and ASPİLSAN Enerji, are joining forces to develop high value-added technologies, primarily in the fields of energy storage and uninterruptible power systems.

Netaş, one of Türkiye’s leading technology manufacturers, has signed a strategic cooperation agreement with ASPİLSAN Enerji — a company that develops domestic and national solutions in the fields of defense and energy technologies — as part of IDEF 2025. This partnership aims to develop high-tech solutions for strategic infrastructure systems, primarily in the defense industry.

The agreement encompasses joint R&D and product development activities in strategic areas such as energy storage and management systems, as well as uninterruptible power systems, by combining the engineering expertise of both institutions. In the field of energy storage systems, the collaboration aims to develop domestic solutions for AI-powered predictive maintenance, remote monitoring, management, and orchestration infrastructures. In the area of uninterruptible power systems, the focus will be on creating critical backup power solutions to ensure grid stability and respond to emergencies.

ASPİLSAN Enerji General Manager Prof. Ahmet Turan Özdemir stated, “The digitalization of energy systems and AI-assisted management are no longer needs of the future—they are necessities of today. In this regard, our collaboration with Netaş will further strengthen us both technologically and strategically in areas such as energy storage, uninterruptible power, and remote management. With this strategic partnership, the two organizations will continue to deliver sustainable solutions within Türkiye’s high technology ecosystem and bring domestic engineering capabilities to the global stage.
