With Respect, Love, and Longing, We Remember Atatürk

On the 83rd death anniversary, we, the employees of ASPİLSAN Enerji, remember the creator of our republic the great statesman, Great Leader Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, with respect, love and longing.

"November 10 is of enormous importance in terms of correctly comprehending Atatürk's 57-year life, his struggle, what he provided to our nation, and what he wishes to acquire," ASPİLSAN Enerji Human Resources and Corporate Support Manager Alparslan Turan Ünlü stated during the ceremony conducted at ASPİLSAN Enerji.

Gazi Mustafa Kemal Atatürk freed our country and nation from the grips of a brutal invasion with his military and political genius at the turn of the twentieth century.

Atatürk is a man of ideas who has made his stamp on history in a variety of ways, in addition to being a brilliant soldier, a rare politician, and a remarkable leader.

The universal nature of the fundamental ideals on which the Republic of Turkey is founded, the revolutions aimed at a modern social existence, the discourses that take on new meanings every day, and the high-quality works he produces have all contributed to his thinker identity.

The influence of Great Atatürk's brilliant ideas was not restricted to our country; with the enlightenment it brought to brains and the fire of liberty it ignited in hearts, it established an example for all nations seeking independence and reshaped the country's geography.

Leaders from the same era who were a cause of dread and terror for their own country and the rest of the globe are either forgotten or remembered for their negative legacy. On the other side, Atatürk worked hard to present the Turkish Nation to the modern world and to assure its survival by inspiring love and respect. The ambition of "rising above the level of present civilisation" is a sign of the idea of guiding the ebb and flow of time.

Not only on November 10th, but throughout the year, Atatürk's determination to struggle, the responsibilities he left to us, and the aims he set should be discussed. It's also vital to recall the national goals and strategies that our country has considered and put forward, to understand the significance and worth of such efforts, and to rest in peace at the everlasting resting place of Great Atatürk.

We are on duty and at the service of our glorious nation as ASPİLSAN Enerji employees, in accordance with your command "Let our war industry installation be further developed, and the army's needs should be taken into consideration in our industrialisation activity." Our admiration, respect, and gratitude for you will grow with each passing day and last forever."

After a minute of silence and the singing of the National Anthem, the ceremony ended.
