#HorizonEurope, also known as the "Horizon Europe Programme," is the world's largest civilian research and innovation initiative aimed at supporting science and innovation activities. It is the 9th framework programme of the European Union. The Horizon Europe Programme Cluster 5: Climate, Energy, Mobility, component "Target 5 - Clean and competitive solutions for all modes of transportation" includes the ZEV-UP (Frugal Zero-Emission Vehicles concepts for the Urban Passenger challenge) project, which involves 17 stakeholders from 11 different countries and has been selected for support by the European Commission.

The official kick-off meeting of the project took place on February 8, 2024, in Brussels, with the participation of all stakeholders. In the ZEV-UP project, in which we are a stakeholder, the aim is to contribute to cleaner, greener, and smarter cities with a modular, compact, zero-emission light electric vehicle suitable for passenger and freight transport. We would like to share our happiness for being involved in developing and producing the battery of the cost-effective and user-centric L7 class electric vehicle as ASPİLSAN Enerji throughout the 42-month duration of the project.
