ASPİLSAN Enerji's Batteries will also be used in civil aviation

ASPİLSAN Enerji Chairman of the Board of Directors Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ahmet Turan Özdemir stated that the battery cells will be used in civil aviation as well as military systems.
ASPİLSAN Enerji Chairman of the Board of Directors Assoc. Prof. Dr. Özdemir stated that they are in a position to provide the energy of many military systems, and that they have developed products for many energy storage systems from 10 watt cells to megawatt levels.
Stating that they are proud and happy to take part in the construction of many domestic and national defence industry platforms, Özdemir said that they energise systems with products that adapt to very different physical conditions in our KAAN National Fighter Aircraft, heavy attack helicopter, as well as land vehicle platforms and rocket platforms. In this context, we offer products and services by combining both the battery cells in our own factory and different chemistries according to the customer's needs.
"ASPİLSAN Enerji is one of the few companies in the world in this sense"
Özdemir stated that they offer the power of technological products powered by electric batteries up to 85 kilowatts to buyers, and added that the real value of our company's ability is that we take the material as powder, turn it into electrodes, then into batteries in our facility, and then turn it into batteries by adding appropriate software and hardware. This is an end-to-end capability. We are proud of this. ASPİLSAN Enerji is one of the few companies in the world in this sense.
"Our batteries will also be used in civil aviation"
Özdemir stated that they are currently producing batteries for military systems, but civil aviation will be added to this list.
He emphasised that we have batteries for Anka, Aksungur, KAAN, Gökbey, our heavy attack helicopter, Hürjet and Hürkuş platforms. Moreover, civil aviation. We also produce aircraft batteries with a second chemistry. We have EASA Civil Aviation Certification for this. We have made significant progress in the installation of our batteries in the vehicles in THY's inventory. If we are fortunate, civil aviation will also use our batteries. We are also currently producing NMC 811 and nickel-cadmium batteries in two chemistries. But our factory has the ability to produce a large 21700 in addition to this cell, which we call 18650, and we have the ability to produce batteries in 6 different lithium-ion chemistries. We proudly use our products in aviation, marine, land and civil platforms and offer them to customers.
